Sea View Farm operates 3 farms in North Dakota and Minnesota. Our potatoes become frozen potato products for retail and foodservice markets.

We began operations in 2008 in Tappen on 1,800 acres.
Today, Sea View Farm grows four potato varieties: Prospect, Russet Burbank, Mountain Gem, and Caribou, on more than 5,000 acres at its three sites:
- Tappen, North Dakota
- Linton, North Dakota
- Little Falls, Minnesota
We employ over 35 full-time staff and add another 70 seasonal staff for planting and harvest.
We take pride in giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Sea View Farm belongs to the Chamber of Commerce in Little Falls and Linton, and sponsors French fries at Harvest Fest in Tappen and Linton. We also host French Fry Day in Tappen and Community Days.
Each year, Sea View Farm also hands out 2,800 bags of potato chips at parades in the summer and at Christmas.
We are proud to support the Little Falls Lions, Future Farmers of America, the Dam Festival, local 4-H and athletic booster clubs, and are active in agriculture advocacy groups in the area.
Safety
Sea View Farm follows strict safety practices.
Our strong safety culture includes:

- Daily safety talks at all sites.
- Consistent employee engagement in safe practices ensuring strong adoption.
Safety measures are overseen by a Health & Safety Specialist and a cross-site safety team of volunteers who meet regularly to align practices across all three farms.

Farming Technology
Modern Equipment
Sea View Farm owns state-of-the-art equipment, including a tractor that is capable of near-autonomous operation, making it easy for the operator to monitor the systems and the work in the fields.

Data-based Inputs
We apply variable rate irrigation and variable rate fertilizer to match inputs, and our auto-sensing irrigators are programmed to shut off in rain.
Every acre gets exactly what it needs.
Remote Weather Monitoring
We have the capability to monitor conditions remotely from our homes, offices, or trucks and turn equipment on and off to optimize resource use.
